Update User

Update a user’s role, name, location access, and notification preferences.

update_user

Description

Updates an existing user’s role, personal details, location access, and notification preferences. When updating locationsNumberAccess, the provided list replaces the user’s entire current location access — partial updates are not supported.

Example Usage

Give [e-mail] access to locations 78901, 78902, and 78903.

Enable daily review digest for [e-mail], sent at 8:00 AM on weekdays.

Notes

• locationsNumberAccess always replaces the full location access list — it is not additive. Always provide the complete desired list of location IDs.
• Setting entUser: true grants access to all locations and ignores locationsNumberAccess.
• Call get_child_locations to retrieve valid location IDs for locationsNumberAccess.
